Drama and Dance

Redroad music offers workshops in drama and dance to the main age range of 13 – 19.

Drama

Redroad Music believes that drama is an excellent way for young people to understand issues which they face in life.
Not only is drama a great tool for understanding issues but also an amazing way to develop self confidence.

The training course offered is ‘OCN Level One, Self Confidence through Drama’.
Although this is a constant theme the workshops can be adapted to different groups needs and can focus on any topic of learning.
Various drama techniques have to be developed throughout the process.

The course will include working towards a performance of some kind which is usually performed on the last session.

Dance

Opportunities are offered to learn various dancing styles in a fun way.
There is also the opportunity to gain the ‘OCN Level One, Self Confidence through Dance’ which will also consider confidence issues as the course is undertaken.
The course requires people to work towards a performance in the final session or at an organised event.
